It's difficult for the Australian squad to achieve unprecedented feats.

The highest peaks have long been mastered.

We're talking about the squad that has claimed seven Cricket World Cups, along with six more T20 titles, and previously enjoyed over three years undefeated in 50-over cricket.

The alternative records, those for the peak baggers, are all that remain for a side that has accomplished all there is.

The fact it required until Sunday's victory by three wickets over India for them to achieve their initial ODI chase exceeding 300, taking back their record for the highest in the female 50-over format, is, frankly, a compliment to the bowling attack that have worn canary yellow over the past 50 years.

It's difficult for their hitters to maintain a record if not provided the possibility.

Ultimately, the consequence of Australia conceding 330 was leader Alyssa Healy being given a platform to produce her most recent brilliance.

That loss "drove us to rethink our standards," Healy stated recently.

At the following one-day championship in New Zealand, Healy made 170 against England in the title decider and was declared player of the series. She guaranteed her country would not come up short.

If this recent magnificent innings topped that previous effort is debatable.

Certain people claim the reasoning behind final game tension. Different voices suggest with the test that comes when facing a record target and a loud pro-India audience of 20,000.

What's definite is this ton was far harder to anticipate.

The Christchurch carnage in 2022 came as she was the highest scorer, but this performance was preceded by six games in India over the past few weeks in which she had been unable to reach 30.

"For those following me in the nets, it's been a frustrating experience because it seemed I lacked timing whatsoever," stated Healy.

"Yet the moment you enter the playing area, your fighting spirit take over and you just lock into the match."

She was troubled by India's emerging talent Kranti Gaud in the previous month's ODI series, dismissed by the emerging pace bowler in all three matches, but on this occasion it simply offered Healy's inspiration.

"An opportunity to play and engage in competition with her and merely enjoy the moment that way, sort of got me going," stated Healy.

She got to fifty in 35 deliveries - her swiftest at the World Cup - and her hundred in 84 balls as she attacked short-pitched balls, scoring 21 fours and three maximums.

By the time she was removed her side needed 66 additional runs at a run-a-ball - an unconquered height now requiring a leisurely stroll.

"To chase 330 is unfamiliar ground so I'm pleased we have the assurance to achieve that now," added Healy.

"Hopefully we don't have to do it another time but, if necessary, we are confident we can achieve it."

That comment will be the ultimate thing rival teams at this championship need to hear.

Over the past five days a sense they will succeed regardless of circumstances has become more firm - this success coming after victory over Pakistan by 107-run victory despite being 76-7 at a certain moment.

Following this Australia face Bangladesh before an encounter with longtime competitors England in Indore in 10 days, by which point a last-four spot may likely be confirmed.

It was at that stage they were eliminated from the prior year's T20 World Cup in a surprising setback by South Africa - a match Healy was absent due to torn tissue in her foot as she guided Australia for the first time at an important competition.
